Job Description:

As a Mobile Technician at UniverCell Canada, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. You will provide high-quality technical support to customers, ensuring their devices are restored to optimal functionality. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on various mobile devices.
  • Perform repairs on smartphones and tablets, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and component repairs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mobile technology trends and repair techniques.
  • Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining repair processes, timelines, and costs to customers.
  • Test repaired devices to ensure functionality and quality before returning them to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
  • Manage inventory of parts and tools required for repairs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to advise customers on repair options and device maintenance.
  • Up-sell accessories and maintain inventory.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mobile repair is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a mobile technician or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with repair tools and equipment.
